1. The mayor's Bike Fort Worth event took place yesterday at Oakhurst Park. Many, many thanks to all who made it happen, including Glenda Shelton who organized the tables, refreshments, music, sound system, etc.; Phyllis and Fred Anglin, Sharon Buse and so many others (complete list of all the volunteers to be in the April Oak Leaflet). The mayor and her staff said it was the best of these events they have had this year and that Oakhurst set the bar very high.
2. Help out a fellow neighbor: A neighbor wrote yesterday asking if we knew how many Oakhurst homeowners have had their roofs replaced due to damage from the April 2012 hail storm. This information could help convince the insurance company that they need to pay to redo the roof on her house because of that storm. If you've had your roof replaced because of damage from that April 2012 hail storm, PLEASE let us know with a quick email and provide your address. We'll compile the information and share with all.
